$2000 in total, $600 for first place (based on 60 paid entries)
In case a GM is coming, (if registered before Sep 29th), the prizes will be raised, for example $1000 for first place, $600 for second place and etc.
Prizing table will be posted after first round started. Basically, there will be 3 main prizes and 1 sub-section prize for each section, together with Top Unrated prize and Top Female prize. - Entry fee

Third (and up) paid entry in same family, less $40
Play up a section (current rating within 100 rating points), add $20

Deadline of online registration will be 24 hours before the first round.
On site registration will be accepted at $100 before first round; if registering before 9:45am, players will still be paired for the first round, otherwise get a potluck pairing (against someone else registering late) or a half-point bye. - Payment
We accept online payment by Paypal (You don't need to have a Paypal account), or
INTERAC® payment to info@westchess.com (please also send an email to inform player name and CFC number) - Cancellations and Refunds
Should something arise that prevents you from being able to attend the tournament, you can email us expressing the need to cancel, and your entry fee will be refunded in the manner of your entry fee payment, less any payment process fee. The deadline for any cancellations is 48 hours before the starting of the tournament. - Equipment

Half-point byes may be requested for all but the last round. One hour before the round starts, you can request a bye by emailing to info@westchess.com.
If your opponent doesn't show up for 1 hour after the round starts, you win by "forfeit".

Parking is free for tournament participants on P3 level throughout the period of the whole tournament.
Please be aware, if you choose levels other than P3, the usual 4-hour restriction for Mall customers will be applied.
Additional Room:
Take the elevator, close to the Room 118, to level R (Roof Parking), you should find the room. It functions as Skittles Room / lounge / meeting room.
Side Event: Free Blitz
To register, You do NOT need to be in the main tournament.
It starts at 7pm Oct 7th (Sunday), and may delay if 4th round doesn’t finish very quickly.
5 round Swiss, time control 3+2.
First place $100, Second place $50.
