#Introduction
Open to Grade K-Grade 10.
You kids have already learned most fundamental chess knowledge, like tactics, opening principles and basic endings, and are able to apply in their own games. More notably, they have primarily established their habit of "thinking ahead" ( or say "chess vision").
In this Step we continue teaching some essential skills, like "preparatory moves".
Topics include: Opening advantage, Interfering, Luring, Blocking, Thinking ahead, The pin( luring), The passed pawn, Eliminating the defence and more. Others will be covered in Step 4B/4C.

Parking: Surface parking lot. Parking is $2 per hour, or $5.50 for the day. Payment can be made at the parking meter located in the Atrium of the C/D Building, or via the Hangtag mobile app.

Chess-Steps Method - Equipment
Chess Sets and Boards are provided, and kids can borrow a chess set to practice at home, if needed. - Cancellation Policy
