We are pleased to announce Ludica Pizzeria & Game Room, at 601 Carnarvon Street (by Sixth Street) in New Westminster, as a sponsor for our tournament. It is conveniently located within a five-minute walk from the east entrance of Douglas College, and close to the Columbia Skytrain Station. Ludica also has a second location, at 189 Keefer Place, near the Stadium Skytrain Station in Vancouver.

It was recently voted the 11th best pizza joint in Canada by Big 7 Travel. It has an extensive menu of delicious stone oven-baked thin-crust pizzas, including vegan and gluten-free pizzas, as well as many salad and pasta choices. It is a very family-friendly venue.

In addition to good pizza, Ludica also has an extensive collection of hundreds and hundreds of board and card games available free of charge to dine-in customers. Their huge collection offers a wide variety of strategy games, including chess sets, and their tables are the ideal size for groups playing boardgames. They offer a very welcoming atmosphere for players.

Ludica will be providing a total of five $20 gift cards to be distributed among the winners of the Upset Prize in the first five rounds of the tournament. Details will be posted in the “Prizes” section of this website.
