#Introduction
Open to Grade K-Grade 8.
You kids have already learned chess rules from Step 1; more importantly, they have managed to apply the relevant knowledge to their own games.
In Step 2A, students start to learn basic tactics and positional play.
Topics include: Activity, Double attack, The pin, Eliminating of defence, The 3 golden rules, Mate in two and more.
Homework puzzles are not required but are strongly recommended. Students can complete the puzzles during class time.
